THE DESIGN HACKATHON

November 16-17, 2017

2-day design session

Five select teams are invited to a 2-day design hackathon at Case Western Reserve University. Teams will have access to 3D printers, laser cutters, routers, saws, and more in Case Western Reserve’s 7-story, 50,000-square-foot makerspace, the Larry Sears and Sally Zlotnick Sears think[box].

You will be asked to design a service by validating user needs, coming up with concepts, prototyping the best one, and developing “back of the envelope” business model calculations.

A jury consisting of Goodyear executives and Weatherhead professors will select the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Members of the 1st place winning team will be granted an interview slot at Goodyear for an internship position on the Global Innovation Team.*
